Editha Grant Obituary

Editha Couey Grant, age 89, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Editha was born in Glenwood, Georgia, the daughter of Willie and Clyo (Frost) Couey and had lived in Jacksonville for the past 53 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her time to the care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, and her beloved husband of 40 years, Hollis Grant (1991).
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda G. Gill of Jacksonville, FL; grandson, Derek Gill and his wife Jac OKeeffe Gill of St. Augustine, FL.; sister, Dorothy Odom of Soperton, GA
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, March 24, 2018, in Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Keith Foskey officiating. Visitation with the family will be held that day from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
