Nellie Harrell Obituary

Nellie Harrell, age 90, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Nellie was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL. and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Harrell and daughter, Nellene Harrell-Leggett. She is survived by: her daughter Josephine Stanley, son Edward Harrell Jr., four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Audrey Livingston and Jeanne Solomon. At Nellie's request in lieu of flowers she asked that donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. A home going celebration honoring Nellie will be held Saturday, April 7, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Dr. Allen Cagle officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 N. Main St., Jacksonville, FL 714-1110
