Cecil Wayne Youngblood

Cecil Wayne Youngblood, Sr., 69, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Cecil and Lou Vee Youngblood. He has lived in Jacksonville most of his life and attended the First Baptist Church of Oceanway. He worked for Atlantic Marina, the Jacksonville Ship Yard, and BAE Systems. He attented Andrew Jackson High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the yard as well as gardening. He is preceded in death by his son, Cecil Wayne Youngblood, Jr.; brother, Michael Youngblood; and uncle, Ernest Youngblood. Survivors include his niece, Lisa & Levon (Jimmie) Avant; former wife and friend Pat Faircloth and Jerry; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday evening November 13 at 6pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Brother Bill Dillhyon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 5pm.
