David Lamar Brown

BROWN           David Lamar Brown, 57, passed away on Saturday August 17, 2019. He was born in Jacksonville to Clayton, Jr and Nannie (Lambert) Brown and has lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School class of 1979. He loved music and playing the Guitar and was a jack of all trades. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his father, Clayton Brown, Jr., and his brothers, Michael and Daniel Brown. Survivors include his mother, Nan Brown, brother, Matthew Brown, sister, Melinda Renee Brown, and her children, John, Hannah, and Arabella. And a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 12:30 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville with Brother Bruce Walls officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 20, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers are, Clayton Brown, John Dancy, James Bessent, Kerry Boatwright, Sam Johnson, and Tyler Simpson.
