Dorothy Hazel Borowski

Dorothy Hazel Borowski, 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. She was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1941 to the late James and Dorothy (Ross) Wray. She has lived in Jacksonville since 2011. She was a veteran and served in the US Navy, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, Grandmother, a great, Great-Grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Luanne Graham, and sister, Mary Dunn. Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Frank Borowski ; sons, Scott Borowski, and Keith Borowski; daughters, Laura Borowski (David White), Tracy Noble (Kevin), Debra Merrill (Dean) and Tina Anne; brothers, James Wray and Dale Wray; sisters, Alice Clayton, Jo Ellen Welebir, Ruth Klingensmith, and Betty Jane Mischick; grandchildren, Brett, Brandi, Christopher, Tiffany, Brittany, Amber, Nick, Amanda, Sarah, and Maggie; great-grandchildren, James, Lilia, Justin, Skylar, Jager, Maria, Arturo, Julia, Jane, Johanna, Deaglan, Kaden, Bailey, Riley, Marquise, John, Chelsea, Kira, Shaelynn and Emily; son in law, Steve Graham; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at the graveside in Jacksonville National Cemetery, at 10:30 am using lane #1. The family will receive friends at Cedar Bay funeral home 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, on Monday evening July 29, starting at 4pm until 6pm.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in Tidewater, Virginia for friends and family there. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
