Douglas Lewis Adams

Douglas Lewis Adams, 52, passed away on Tuesday October 8, 2019. He was born in Jacksonville to Bobby Lewis and Jean Elizabeth (Stanley) Adams. He has lived in Jacksonville all of his life. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Adams, sister, Kimberly Lynn Adams. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his son, Richard Lee Adams (Jessica), daughters, Sandra Jean Taylor (Larry), and Kimber Adams; mother, Jean S. Adams; brothers, Herbert Michael Adams, and Kenny Adams. 5 grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Friday October 18, 2019 at 1pm in Restore Church 12650 Gillespie Avenue, Jacksonville, with Pastor Anthony Beckam officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 12pm at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Go Fund me account of Doug Adams memorial.
