Duane Eugene Andring, 77, passed away on Sunday February 3, 2019. He was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Eugene and Vernona (Zenk) Andring and has lived in Jacksonville all of his life, where he worked for Anheuser Busch plant as a production worker. He was a veteran and served in the US Airforce National Guard. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School class of 1960. He loved building things and was a master carpenter, and also loved collecting antiques and spending time with his dog Lulu. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his grandchild, Luke Andring. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Linda; son, Jeffrey Andring (Catherine); daughters, Lynda “Michelle” Glover, and Trisha Fox (Shawn); brother, Dean Andring (Peggy); grandchildren, Alexis Glover, Jacob Andring, Brooke Glover, Owen Fox, Ryan Fox, and Zachary Fox. And a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 13, 2019 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL. Interment with military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 7pm at the funeral home.
