Hazel Irene (Purvis) Gregory

Hazel Irene Gregory, 80, passed away on Monday April; 30, 2018. She was born in Alapaha, GA., to the late Eddie and Jessie Baker Purvis. Mrs. Gregory was retired from the Federal Reserve Bank as an accountant. She was a member of River Church on Monument Road. She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie L. Gregory,  son Danny Gregory,  sisters, Lillie Evelyn Webb and Gracie Baker,  brothers, Eddie and Austin Purvis. Survivors include daughter, Deborah Brinley (Walter); sister, Carlene Dowdy (Willis) ; grandchildren, Scott Brinley (Kelli) Deborah Trotter (Tony), great grandchildren, Solomon Brinley, Jessica Krausie, Bethany Green, Kaylee Green, Kaitlyn Griffith, great great grandchildren,  Colten Eely and Melody Brown; and a host of Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 7, 2018 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. James Ward and Rev. Philip Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery, Omega GA.  The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 4pm until 6pm at the funeral home
