James Aaron Raulerson

James Aaron Raulerson, 92, passed away on Thursday August 23, 2018. He was born on June 4, 1926 in Baker County, Florida to the late Andrew and Minnie Crews Raulerson. He was a veteran and served in the US Navy. He was a member of Otis Road Church of God. He is preceded in death by his wives, Doris Sikes Raulerson, and Myrtle “Mert” Raulerson; son, Arnold Aaron Raulerson Sr.; grandchildren, Melissa Raulerson Thomas and Aaron Raulerson Jr.; and brothers, Melvin and Cecil Raulerson. Survivors include his sons, Harry (Delores) Raulerson, Gary (Jo Ann) Raulerson, Marcus (Susie ) Raulerson, Steven (Dottie) Raulerson, and Jeffrey (Mary Ann) Raulerson; daughter-in-law, Cathy Raulerson; brother, Virgil (Marion) Raulerson; sisters, Sylvia Spires, Ophelia Nelon, and Naomi Higginbotham; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Otis Road Church of God, 801 Otis Road, Jacksonville, FL, with Pastors Steve and Susie Thomas and Pastor Gary Raulerson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in River Road Baptist Church Cemetery, 21067 County Road 121, Hilliard, FL.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Otis Road Church of God.
