Jimmy Otis Horton,

Horton,       Jimmy Otis Horton, 88,  passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2018. He was born in Tipton Indiana in 1930, to the late Lawrence and Arminta Horton, and  has lived in Jacksonville since 1968. He was a member of Duval Station Baptist Church, he enjoyed restoring old cars, fishing, bowling and his animals. He is preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Horton and his step son, Ricky Allen. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Nellie Horton; daughter, Pam Anderson, grandchildren, Lindsey Allen, Jay Franklin, and Kristi Frazier (Wilson); 4 great grandchildren, Jayden, Vera, Judah, and Natalie.. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Pastor Jimmy Flanagan officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8;00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
