Evans                                                      John Holley Evans, 62 passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2019. John is preceded in death by his father, Earl Evans and mother Kitty E. Jones. Survivors include his children, Velvet Moore, John E. Evans, and Monica Marcum; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Tom Evans, sisters, Deborah Padgett, Sonia Cothran, and Tina Brown. John will be greatly missed by all whom knew him, especially by his friend and loyal dog, Shorty. Memorial services will be held on Friday July 26, 2019 at 7pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with the family officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 6pm at the funeral home.
