Kenneth M. Nichols

Kenneth M. Nichols, 53, passed away on Friday June 8, 2018. He was born in Vandalia, IL, and has lived in Jacksonville since 1996. He was a manager and operator for Symrise Chemical Company and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Kenneth had a love for golf, the Cubs and his country so please wear your favorite golf shirt, your favorite baseball team or your favorite patriotic shirt. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Vickie; sons, James Clements and Kraig Nichols; daughters, Kristi Clements and Emily Nichols; father and stepmother, Elmer (Doc) and Rita Nichols; mother Sharon Ulmer; brother, David Rusnak (Jennifer) brother in law Mark Anderson (Janice); sister, Jody Koontz and Janet Cook; granddaughter, Kinsley Clements. Funeral services with military honors will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Jacksonville National Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Powell officiating. Those wishing to attend the services will meet at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin, Jacksonville, FL. at 9:30 am on Wednesday.
