Nellene Roerig Obituary

Nellene Roerig, 75, passed away on Sunday October 21, 2018. She was born in Clarksville, TN, and has lived in Jacksonville since 1969. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a girl scout leader for 30 years, as well as Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society. She is preceded in death by her son Aaron Christion and daughter Karen Holly and father, Alfred Smith. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, William Ronald Roerig, Sr. son, William Ronald, Jr (Mickey) daughter, Carol Raisch (Derl); brother, Al Smith (Willa); sisters, Paula, Cindy, Terrie, and Vicky; grandchildren, Sheree Allgary (Jonas), Nellene Raisch; great grandchildren, Lauren, and Elizabeth, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday October26, at 3pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL.
