Patti Gayle Spears

Patti Gayle Spears, age 61, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born in Jacksonville to John and Hazel Cooper Touchton. She was Baptist by faith and was a 1974 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. Patti was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Touchton. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Lonnie Spears, Sr.; sons, Lonnie Spears, JR (Misty), Michael Spears, and Ryan Spears; daughter, Cheryl Salyer; brother, Robert Touchton (Vickie); sister, Belinda Thompson (Greg); grandchildren, Austin, Jonathan, Rebecca, Maygen, Noah, Wyatt, and Nathan; great grandchildren, Christina, and Mackenzie. And a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Thursday April 12, at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Larry McGinley officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning at the funeral home starting at 10am.
