Randall William Liles Jr.

Randall William Liles, Jr., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday January 11, 2019.  He was a loving husband to his "bride" (as he called her), a devoted father, grandfather, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all.  Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Catherine Dowling Liles; sons, Randall William Liles, III (Lisa), and Lawrence Mitchell Liles, Sr. (Shelly), daughter Eleanor Michele Thomas, step-daughter, Mary Catherine Dowling, step son, Edgar Allen Scott, and his dog Rowdy who was always by his side. Grandchildren, Randy, Ryan, Larry, Logan, Amanda, Christina, Beau, Lori and Lisa, and many great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville. Interment will follow with military honors at 12:30pm in the Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral starting at 10:30 am. Following, there will be a celebration dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Liles, Sr.
