Richard Daniel Cribbs, 60, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. He was born in Jacksonville to the late George and Virginia (Iles) Cribbs. He has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He loved fishing, NASCAR, Jaguars, and Gator football, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was known as Paw-Paw. He is preceded in death by his brothers, William and Patrick Cribbs, and his sisters, Eleanor Campbell, Dorothy Furlow, Shirley Padgett, and Juanita Vangorder. Survivors include his sons, Richard Cribbs (Karllie), Daniel Cribbs (Tiffany), and Joey Jones (Kimberlee); daughter, Danielle Cribbs (Justin); brothers, Michael Cribbs (Ora), and Jerry Cribbs; sister, Darleen McCullough (Kenny); best friend, Alda Williams; grandchildren, Carson, Chandler, and Ryker Cribbs; special niece, Sherry Bodenheimer; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Tuesday, May 7 at 11am in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, from 6pm until 8pm.
