Richard Charles Hereford

Richard Charles Hereford, 64, passed away on December 4, 2018. He was born in Birmingham, AL to Charles and Kathleen Davis Hereford. He has lived in Jacksonville most of his life and attended Andrew Jackson High School, and was a member of Celebration Church. He loved fishing, boats, the beach, NASCAR and traveling to Key West. He was a loving father, son, grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Hereford. Survivors include his sons, Ethan, Justin, and Logan Hereford, and Dale Cole; daughters, Melissa Hereford and Tracy Williams; mother, Kathleen Hereford; brothers, Steve Hereford (Theresa) and Tommy Hereford (Cindy); sisters, Tina Clark, and Suzanne Hughes (Dwan); grandchildren, Crystal, Natalie, Chandler, Morgan, Caleb, Miracle, and Braden; and several step grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 2pm in the Dunns Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Malmberg officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 1pm in the church. Interment will follow in Ferreira Cemetery, North Jacksonville. Arrangements are under the direction of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville. 714-1110
