Roderick A. Goff

Roderick A. Goff, age 50, passed away with family by his side on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:43 a.m. in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on May 27, 1968 in Huntington, West Virginia to Lou Ellen (Thompson) and Howard Goff, III. 
Roderick was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He was an avid fisherman and a true Jacksonville Jaguars football fan. He was a kind, funny, loving person with a huge heart and would help anyone in need. He always believed in making the best of any situation no matter how bad it was. He could put a smile on anyone's face. he always said life is too short to be mad all the time so live life to the fullest and do what makes you happy. 
Roderick is preceded in death by his father, brother, son, and daughter. Rod is survived by his wife, Caroline; son, Lonnie Goff; daughters, Jessica, Brittney, and Calah; grandchildren, William, Hailey-Ann, Jonnie, and General; his mother, Lou; sisters, Tracy and Melissa; brother, Lee; nieces, Katelyn, Abigail, Scarlett, Kenzie, and Madison; and nephews, Michael, Steven, Skyler, and David.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
