Roy Coleman Prescott

Prescott, Roy Coleman Prescott, 75, passed away on Saturday May17, 2014. He was born on December 13, 1938 in Dublin, GA., and has livedin Jacksonville for the past 55 years. He was the son of the late Lee Royand Gladys Register Prescott. He retired from St. Regis Paper Mill after42 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend,and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include his sons, EricPrescott (Amy) of Jacksonville, Alan Prescott (Rita) of Folkston, andChris Prescott (Frankie) of Jacksonville; brother, Eddie Prescott (Wylene)of Fruit Cove; sisters, Gloria Wright (Jimmy) of Jacksonville, and GlendaWainright (John) of Nahunta, GA.; grandchildren, Sandra (James), Kelly(Will), Levi (Abby), Hannah (Chris), Matthew (Vina) and Caroline; greatgrandchildren, James, Jacey, Anthony, Alex, and Juno; and a host of otherrelatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 21,at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road,Jacksonville, with Rev. Joe Perry officiating. Interment will be onThursday May 22, in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Folkston Georgia,with Randy Wainright officiating.
