Sarah Lillian (Harrold) Simpson

Sarah Lillian Simpson, 72, passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2019. She was born in Jacksonville Florida to the late L.L. Harrold and Margaret (Emerson) McCormick. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. She enjoyed the beach, cooking, baking and loved making cards and spending time with family and grandchildren. Survivors include her son, William Scott Simpson and wife Jeanna; daughter Shelly Kern; brothers, Erney and Roy McCormick; Sister Donna Hall; grandchildren, Taylor, Justin, Katie, and Jesse. And a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her honor may be made to Community Hospice. The family will hold a visitation on Thursday September 26, 2019 from 4pm until 6pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville.
