Morrison Tanner Bruce Morrison, 45, passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2019. He was born in Atlanta, GA, but was raised in Altamont Springs, Florida, where he attended his school years thru high school. From an early age Tanner was a large boy and earned the nick name “Big T” and it fit him to a tee. Throughout his elementary and high school years Tanner played many sports, baseball, wrestling, Basketball, golf and his primary focus was football where he excelled. He was a sports illustrated top 20 high school draft pick for college at graduation. He also loved to fish. He started his college career at Georgia Military in Milledgeville, GA, where he was named all-America both years he attended. After graduation, he attended UCF in Orlando, FL., on a full scholarship until an injury ended his football career. His football days earned him the nick name “Tank” for his powerful hits on the field as a lineman. Tanner Left UCF and moved to Jacksonville where he started a moving business and seguewayed to a painting contracting business always looking to better himself he moved on to other opportunities. Tanner had a bigger than life personality and was loved by all that came to know him. He had three loves in his life, his beautiful daughter, Riley Morrison and her mother Tiffany Bell and his dog Scooby his beloved Stafford Terrier. Also left to grieve for Tanner is his mother Linda Bewley Tiffany, his father Bruce Morrison, step mother, Lucy Morrison, two sisters, Tempest Bly, and Tiffany Beattie, and extended family to include DJ Bly, Cayden Bly, Braxton Beathe and Lexa Beattie, also Tiffany Bells loving mother, Darlene McClengghan, and two sisters, Tracy Knowles and Tracey Whitter. Tanner had many many friends and will be dearly missed, he was loved by all.
