Mr. Victor Juan Palma Jr., age 51, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, at the Orange Park Medical Center. Victor was born in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, the son of Victor J. Palma Sr. and the late Elida Palma. Mr. Palma served faithfully for 10 years with the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Mate and then worked for a number of years as a cameraman for Jacksonville’s FOX 30 TV Station, since then he has worked as an Aviation Electrician for the past 21 years with the Northrop-Grumman Corporation, working on P-3 Aircraft. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who devoted most of his time to the care of his family.
Victor is survived by his wonderful wife of 29 years, Monina Palma; his son, Felix Palma and daughter, Loraine Palma all of Orange Park, Florida; his brother, Alex Palma of Vineland, New Jersey, and a number of close friends who will miss him deeply.
Funeral services with military honors will be conducted at 2:30 PM, on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida, with Father Ignatius Plathanam officiating.
A visitation with the family will be held at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM and then go in procession to Jacksonville National Cemetery for the funeral services at 2:30 PM.
