W.I "Bill" Reynolds, passed at 84 years of age into the Lord's arms on June 18 th. Bill was a avionics electrician, taking his 30 yr. Navy career from Puerto Rico, to Africa, Iceland, Iran, and more. After retirement, Bill moved to his retirement residence in Crescent City,Fl.. He was a active member of Masonic Lake Lodge #72, a member of the Crescent City Moose Lodge , and a life member of the Morocco Shrine Club. Bill was very active in the Lake Como Community Association, attended Lake Como Community of Hope (prior Lake Como United Methodist Church) and the annual Navy Hurricane Hunter Reunions, and was a supporter of other associations including the NRA and Fleet Reserve. In addition to being a career Navy man supporting a family of 5, Bill made the time to enjoy bowling, fishing, hunting,boating and many civic activities. Bill loved adventures and exploring. Favorite travels included the US Orient Express, hot air ballooning, cruises, and soaring. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, wife and mother of their children, H."Emily" Nash Reynolds, brother Wayne, wife Reta Martin Reynolds, partner Joan May, and daughter Laura Reynolds Fox. Bill is survived by son Rick Reynolds of Jax,Fl.,, daughter Helen Reynolds Sullivan and son-in-law Phil Sullivan of Jax,Fl., and grand-daughter Emily Fox of Wilmington,NC. Remembrance of Bill's life will be at Lake Lodge #72, 112 Shriners Club Rd, Pomona Park, Fl., June 30 @ 3:00pm, and internment services will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery on July 1 @ 11:30 am.
