Wayne Morris Chessman

Chessman                                              Wayne Morris Chessman, 76, passed away on Friday December 27, 2019. He was born in Folkston, GA., to the late Morris Delaney, and Nina Will, and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He was a veteran and served in the US Army, and was a graduate of Ribault High School class of 1961. Wayne loved riding horses, driving his race cars and motor cycles. Survivors include his best friend and companion, Lisa Akers; daughter, Wendy Joiner; cousins, Rhonda and Dink Thagard, Ricky and Phyllis Joyce and Tim Fagan; granddaughter, Maycee Joiner. And a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 30, 2019 at 1pm in the chapel of Evergreen Cemetery, with Dr. Winston Butler officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 12:30 pm in the chapel at Evergreen Cemetery. Interment will follow in the Mausoleum at Evergreen Cemetery.
