Aaron Bryan Crews, Sr., 81, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, with his loving family at his side. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1942 to the late Aaron and Eunice (Hill) Crews and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He is preceded in death by his brother Doyle Leonard Roberts. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sue Carol Borries Crews; children, Dianna Lynn Hall (Mike), and Aaron Bryan Crews, Jr. (Jen), and Scott Christopher Harrison; grandchildren, Anna Jennifer Crews Rutledge (Chandler), Sharon Elaine Crews, and Aaron Bryan Crews, III; great-grandchildren, Raheem Rutledge, and Khalid Rutledge; grand pets Pepper (Puppy) and Parker (Kitty) and sibling Gregory Crews (Jane), and a host of other relatives and friends. He retired from Wachovia Bank with over 38 years of service. He was a veteran and served in the US Army for six years. He graduated from Jacksonville University in 1966 and the University of Wisconsin School of Banking in 1976. He was a member of Connect Church and his hobbies included gardening, genealogy, collector of coins, model cars, and model trains. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 1 pm in the Connect Church of Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church starting at 12 noon until 1 pm.
