Alagene O’Steen Womack (Clements), was born on June 17, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida. She passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, in her hometown of Jacksonville. She was the daughter of James and Juanita O'Steen.
Alagene devoted her professional life to serving the community she loved, as an assistant to the Tax Collectors for the City of Jacksonville. Her dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those she worked with and served. Known for her strong will and independence, Alagene also had a loving and generous spirit that touched the lives of many.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Wanda Eggers; her three sons, Alvin (Angela) Clements, Lee (Pamela) Clements, and Richard Clements; bonus-daughter, Tiffany Womack; her niece, Tonette McMullen; nine grandchildren; Adam, Amber, Colton, Bella, Victoria, Dalton, Haley, Kendra and Addis; six great-grandchildren; Jordan, Rileigh, Kirsten, Serinity, Makenzie and Kade; plus many more extended family members. Her family brought her immense pride and joy throughout her life.
