Andrew Loven Pyles

  Andrew Loven Pyles, 87, passed away on Friday November 13, 2020. He was born in Cairo Georgia in 1933 to the late Elmer and Margaret (Griffin) Pyles.  He has lived most of his life in Jacksonville. He was a veteran and served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a long time member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Rhonda Skiper and son, Larry R Jones. Survivors include his wife of 51 years Martha Evelyn Pyles; son, Gary Pyles (Pricille) ;daughter, Kathy Pyles Simmons; Rev. John Stanley (Anne), Kevin Jones (Debbie); and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2020 at 12:30 pm in the Oak Grove Light House Mission, 5201 Cedar Point Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor John Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday morning starting at 11:00 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Anderson Cemetery.
