Annie Lois Summey Leverett Scott entered into Heaven on Thursday, September 22, 2022. She was born on May 18, 1932 in Bartow County, Georgia to the late Willie Frank Summey and Nellie Horton Summey.
She is preceded in death by her husband’s, BT Leverett & Mason Robert Scott; 2 babies, Teresa and John; and 3 brothers, Sam, Neadom and Johnny. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Wright, Janet Pearson, Cherry (Donald) Hutcherson, Omma (Charles) Freeman and Holly (Derrick) Smith; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one on the way; 2 brothers, 1 sister and her furbaby, Tinky. We would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice, who was there for the last 7 months, along with their amazing caregivers from the director, nurses, aides and volunteers. Without them we don’t know what we would have done.
Graveside Services will be held at Fletcher Cemetery on Highway 129 South just off Highway 82, Alapaha, Georgia, on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at 11 am, with Bro. Ken Barney officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida.
