Barbara Ann Brown

Barbara Ann Brown, 66, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1957 to Bobby and Jo Ann (Midyette) Godwin and has lived in Maxville all her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Brown and father Bobby Godwin.  Barbara graduated from Baldwin High School class of 1975, she was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include her daughter, Regina Brown, brother Robert Godwin, Mother JoAnn Godwin, grandchildren, Savannah, Bryce, and Waylon. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11 am in the First Baptist Church of Maxville, with Rev. Steven Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church starting at 10 am. Interment will follow in Manning Cemetery, Maxville.
