Betty Jo Morris

Betty Jo Morris, 87, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. She was born in Jamestown, South Carolina in 1934 to the late Arthur and Bessie (Griffin) Lorimore and has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Herman Morris. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. Survivors include her sons, Charles Morris and wife Kim, and Rodney Morris and (Serena Reid); grandchildren, Michael, Brandy, Stephanie, Kyle, Brittany, Brooke, and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Donny, Tegan, Brian, and Skyler, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery, Callahan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 10am on Saturday.
