Betty Elizabeth Taylor

Betty Elizabeth Taylor, 84, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. She was born in Ridgeland, South Carolina, in 1937. Betty attended Good Samaritan Church, was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William David Taylor, Sr.; daughter, Linda Johnson; son, David Taylor; and her mother, Elizabeth Price. Survivors include her daughter, Laura Reinhardt; son, Douglas Taylor; grandchildren, Danielle Stevens (Michael), Jennifer Johnson, David Taylor, Jr, (Kayla), Donna Gail Taylor, Holly Taylor, Sarah Reinhardt, Jessica Brook (Joe), and Michael Reinhardt; and14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 5 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Dr. David Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 4 pm.
