Betty Lorraine (Herndon) Tison

 Betty Lorraine Herndon Tison, 70, passed away on Sunday September 27, 2020. She was born in Atlanta Georgia in 1950 to the late Bill Herndon and Eunice Collins. She has lived in Jacksonville most of her life where she graduated from Andrew Jackson High School class of 1969. She was Baptist by faith. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Lee Tison (Natalie), Brian Christopher Tison (Cecilia), and Shawn Tison; the father of her children Charles Leonard Tison; brothers, Billy Herndon, Jimmy Herndon, and Charles Herndon; sisters, Beth, Teresa, Janice, Elva, Donna, Debbie, and Charlotte; grandchildren, Branden, Faith, Chris, Connor, Payten, and Dylan, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 1, 2020 at 11am in Cedar Bay Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Tyler officiating. Interment will follow at Dunn Creek Tison Cemetery Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville.
