Obituary

Betty L. Williams, 89, went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2020. Betty was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and daughter of late Thomas and Elouise Geiger and is the oldest of 9 siblings. Betty will be joining her late husband Donald Williams Sr.  She was an amazing piano player, where she played for decades for her church and was one of the original members of the Williams Brother’s Gospel Quartet. Betty used her remarkable talent to teach piano music for over 50 years, where she taught privately and for Harvest Christian Academy. She was a proud, dedicated and loyal member of the Church of the Nazarene at Cornerstone Nazarene Church on Lem Turner Rd. Betty also loved the Florida Gators!
Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are her 2 children: Diane Bergstrom and Donald Williams; 3 grandchildren: Lisa Gilmore, Tiffany (Richard) Byrd, Brian (Helena) Bergstrom; 2 great grandchildren: Jordan and Will Gilmore. She is survived by her 3 sisters: Bonnie Turner, Gloria Andress and Ruby Page. 
Viewing will be at 10AM with funeral to follow at 11AM on Saturday February 8, 2020 at the Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery 4535 Main St N, Jacksonville FL 32206.
