Brian Alton Strickland, 39, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. He was born in Jacksonville on January 31,1981 and has lived here all of his life. He attended First Coast High School, he loved fishing and video games. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Peggy and Dan Ellis, JR, and paternal grandparents, Latrelle and  MH Strickland, Sr. Survivors include his parents William and Thelma (Ellis) Strickland; Grandmother Shirley Strickland brother Craig Strickland and wife Kammay; sisters, Emily Strickland (JefferyHunter) and  Stacy Strickland; nephews, Andrew, Samuel, and Mason; nieces, Kaitlynn, Victoria, Melody, Riley, and Lila. And a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday afternoon at 5pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida, with Donna Lambert and Jan Suydam officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 4pm in our chapel on Thursday September 10.
