Bryan Carl Romedy

Today we are celebrating the life of Bryan Carl Romedy.  Bryan was born in Jacksonville, Florida on April 25, 1964 to his mother, Sharon Clements, and father, Preston Marion Romedy. Out of four boys, Bryan was the oldest, and leaves behind his three brothers, the twins, Patrick and Michael Romedy, and the youngest, Kevin Romedy, as well as a younger sister, Shana Romedy. Bryan was preceded by his wife, Edythe Romedy, who was taken home to Jesus, June 7, 2021. Bryan and Eydie were married for 36 years. He left behind two children and five grandchildren. His son, Brandon Romedy; daughter, Jennifer Romedy, and her five daughters, Kaleigh, Nevaeh, Caridee, Bryanna, and Lauren Grace.

Bryan was well known by many people in our community. He took the chance to share about Jesus with his poerty and songs, everytime that he found an opportunity. There are several young ladies and gentlemen who still call him Coach, from the many years he dedicated to coaching softball and baseball at San Mateo Woman's Athletic Association, and the Little League. 

Bryan never met a stranger. His gift was giving. He always went out of his way to help anyone in need if it was within his means to do it. Bryan loved to golf and fish. He left behind his best friend and golfing partner, Robbie Goens and his family, who all meant the world to him. Bryan was what one would call a jack of all trades, and a master of some, as he had many various fields of expertise.

Bryan went to be with the Lord on October 26th, 2022. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many. We ask that you all share with us in rejoicing that he has been taken into the arms of Jesus, and reunited with his loved ones in heaven forever.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November the 5th, 2022 at 10 am at Highlands Baptist Church of Jacksonville with Bro. Art Taylor officiating.
