Carey Lynn Martone

Carey Lynn (Conner) Martone, age 54, passed away on October 22, 2023, in her hometown of Jacksonville, FL. 

Carey was born in Jacksonville, FL to her parents Shirley and William Conner. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. She married Michael Martone on October 16, 1992, and they had 2 children together, Michelle and Anthony Martone.

She loved spending time with friends and family. Carey was the life of the party and was always looking for an adventure. She loved music and going to concerts (especially Lynyrd Skynyrd) and weekend road trips to the mountains. 

Carey was survived by her children Michelle and Anthony Martone, father of her children Michael Martone, her mother Shirley Conner, father William Conner, stepmother Gina Conner, brother Randy Conner, sister-in-law Beth Conner, nieces and nephews Justin, Jewel, and Jarrett, 5 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Mary Manning (Nanny) and Bubba Watts.

 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of  Cedar Bay Funeral Home 405 New Berlin Rd Jacksonville, with Pastor Jarred Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow in  Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
