Carol Elaine Craycraft

Carol "Elaine" Craycraft, 73, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1951 to the late Willie and Joan (Murphy) Hollis. Elaine was a graduate of Lakeland Senior High School and Lakeland Community College. She was a loving sister, aunt, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who touched many lives. Elaine is preceded in death by her brother, Willie Buddy Hollis; sisters, Laura Coats and Paula Coats; and niece, Kelly Coats. She is survived by her sisters, Karen Rhoden (Donnie) and Katherine Williams; stepdaughter, Elaine Ah Nee; grandchildren, Lani, Puanani, Lehua Keonaonaonapua, Kai Ikaika Ah Nee, and Sydney Hernandez; great-granddaughter, Anuhea Kalehua San Nichols; nephews, Brian Coats (Niki), David Richter (Lori), and John Carter (Tracy); nieces, Rebecca Smith (Jerry) and Sarah Helms (Michael); and numerous great-nieces and nephews: Scott, Johnathan, Spencer, Alexus, Hannah, Gavin, Mason, Donavan, Dillon, Kaylee, Austin, Hailey, Taylor, Dylan, Tristen, Garrett, Easton, as well as great-great-nieces and nephews: Kiley, Alex, Emery, Draven, Lily, Addalyn, Gavin, Sadie, Baylee, Harper, Gemma, Remani, Khloee, Kenadee, and Helena. She will also be greatly missed by her beloved dog, Bella. Elaine was an active member of the Yulee Moose Lodge Chapter #2355. She had a deep passion for football, old movies, golf cart rides, animals, fishing, and trivia. Above all, she cherished her time spent with family and friends, and her loving nature will forever be remembered.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor John Kasper officiating.

Visitation with the family will take place prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
