Carolyn Knisley passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the age of 85. Her life journey began in Haines City, Florida, born to her late parents Henry and Lucy Fuller, and eventually moved to Jacksonville with her late husband, John Knisley, in 1969. Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family immensely. She was a strong and determined Christian woman who overcame many challenges in her life. Despite graduating from high school while using a wheelchair, she went on to compete as part of a professional dance group called the Reflections with her husband. Her story is a testament to the power of the human spirit. She is preceded in death by her siblings Lenwood Fuller and Jo Ann Henry and survived by her sister Marlene Bridgeford. Her legacy continues in the lives of her three daughters: Vicki Dunn, Penny Albarado, and Tammy Donker, supported by their husbands. Over the years, her family expanded to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren – Jonathan, Chris, Shaun, Jennifer, Jarrod, Kayla, Brett, and the youngest stars in her universe: Hayden, Gavin, Logan, Bella, Sophia, Claire, Blythe, and Olivia. Carolyn recently became a great-great-grandmother with the newest arrival to the family, Sage. Her family continued to grow over the years through marriages and the addition of close friends to the family. Carolyn's memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 15. The Cedar Bay Funeral Home will host a viewing from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the funeral service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, officiated by Pastor Danny Baggett.
