Rev. Charles B. Hamilton, 67, passed away on July 30, 2024, after a brief illness, in
Baptist Hospital. Charles was born on July 24, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida.
In his early years Charles worked at Terminal Bag Company in Yulee, Florida. He
also worked as a Security Guard for Wells Fargo. He retired from Baptist Hospital
where he worked in the transportation department. He was also an active
member of Pine Baptist Church where he served as the Assistant pastor and was
the song leader.
Charles was predeceased by his wife Shirley Hamilton, his parents Lucius C. and Jane Hamilton
He is survived by his sister, LeAnn Crosby (Dennis); brothers William C. (Mary)
David M. (Bo) Hamilton (Brenda). He is also survived by several nephews, great
nieces, great nephews, cousins, church family at Pine Baptist Church, and
extended family members.

honor. Donations may be mailed to 11764 Lem Turner Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32218. The funeral will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 11 am in Pine Baptist Church, 11764 Lem Turner Road, Jacksonville., with Rev. Dan McLucas and Rev. Thomas T. Drury officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, starting at 10 am. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville.
