Charles Leonard Tison

Charles Leonard Tison, 74, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1950 to the late Arthur and Mildred Tison. He lived in Virginia for 35 years and recently moved back to Jacksonville to be near his family. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School class of 1968 and served in the Air National Guard. He was of Christian faith. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Tison; his sons, Charles Lee Tison (Natalie), Brian Christopher Tison (Cecilia), and Shawn Richard Tison; his stepdaughter, Heather Garth; brothers, Lawrence (Kitty) and Victor (Yvonne); grandchildren, Branden, Faith, Chris, Connor, Payten, and Dylan, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 28th, 2024, at 2pm In the Chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd. Jacksonville FL, 32218.

The Family will receive Friends from 1-2pm at the Funeral Home

The burial will be in Tison’s Dunn Creek Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Cedar Bay Funeral Home.
