Charlotte May

Charlotte May, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Angela
(Steve) Shepherd, her brother, Rick Padgettand two stepsons, John (Kim) May and Michael McDonald (Bonnie), nine
grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35
years, Bob May; her parents, Mary and Charles Padgett; her brother, Larry Padgett (Sherry);
and her stepson, Kenneth May.
Charlotte was born September 17,  1948, in Jacksonville, FL. She was a lifelong member of the San
Mateo Baptist Church. She loved gardening and bird watching, especially her bluebirds. She will
be memorialized in a private ceremony at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
