Dana Yvonne McCoy

Dana Yvonne McCoy passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1983 to Ruby and Bennett (Poole) Watkins and has lived in Jacksonville all of her life. She attended First Coast High School where she was active in the ROTC and was a Lieutenant, JG. She loved fishing, going to Disney World, and spending time with her family and her 5 pet dogs.

Survivors include her daughters, Morgan McCoy, and Alyson McCoy; son, William McCoy; mother and father-in-law, Ruby Ann, and Scott Henderson; fiance, Tiffany Groover; brothers, Jay Watkins, and Ben Watkins; sisters, Corritha Elia, and Julie Santiago; grandparents, Ruby Pool, Nancey Payne, and Frances Stafford, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 6 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
