Darrell Solomon

Solomon                                         Darrell Solomon, 76, passed away on Monday June 28, 2021 at his home with family at his side. He was born in Ocilla, Georgia in 1944 to the late Tillman and Juanita (Jerrigan) Solomon and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He is preceded in death by his son, Darren Solomon and sister, Peggy Gail Moore. Survivors include his wife Shelia Ann Solomon; son, Eric Solomon; daughter, Ronda Baker (David); brothers, John Bryan (Jody), Quincey Bryan (Ruby), and Tillman Solomon, Jr.; sisters, Juanell Wright, and Patricia Jordan (Jim); 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday August 7, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Micah Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home starting at 10am.
