David Lester O'Quinn

 David Lester O’Quinn, 63, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on February 4, 1957 in Fernandina Beach, Florida to the late Felton and Alma (Altman) O’Quinn. David was Baptist by faith and has lived most of his life in Jacksonville. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, working on cars and most of all spending time with his loving family.

David was preceded in death by his brothers, Felton O’Quinn, Jr., George “GW” O’Quinn and Jimmy O’Quinn, sister, Sandra Taylor. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Barbara; sons, Ronald and Kayden Horne; daughters, Belinda O’Quinn and Natalie Horne; sisters, Geri Schaeffer, Beth Dunham, Pat Morrison, Gwen Carney, Kim Sealey and Debbie Bay; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of other friends and family.

Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, with Brother Alton Crews and Greg O’Quinn officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 2pm one hour prior to the service.
