Debra (Debbie) Elswick Farmer, 70, passed away at her home on December 3, 2023. She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on July 25th, 1953, to the late Ray & Joan Elswick. Debra moved to Jacksonville at an early age with her parents. She married her loving husband of 51 years, Malcolm Farmer, on March 3, 1972, and they raised two beautiful children, Matthew L. Farmer (Alena) and Amanda S. Snow (Gordon).

Besides her husband and children, Debra is survived by her beautiful and much-loved grandchildren, Seth & Faith Farmer and Abigail, Jordan & Tabitha Snow, Donald Nixon (cousin/2nd son) & other much-loved extended family.
Debbie was a member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church. Her main joy in life was raising her children and helping to raise her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially to her second home, Elkhorn City, KY, and locations around the United States, until health issues prevented her from doing so.
