Diana Lynn Fulcher, 74, of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2022. Diana was born on November 5, 1947, in Napa, California, to Earl Howard Redelsperger and Retha Renner Redelsperger. Diana met the love of her life, James Everett Fulcher, while he and her father were both stationed at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. The two were married in 1966. Diana and her family were residents of the Ormond Beach area since 1979, until her battle with Alzheimer’s necessitated her move to an assisted living facility. Diana enjoyed hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fly fishing, and camping with her husband. She was a skilled seamstress and flautist. One of Diana’s greatest joys was her church, Calvary Christian Center, Ormond Beach, where she served as secretary for thirty years and spent countless hours serving in any way possible. Diana was preceded by death by her husband of 45 years, James Everett Fulcher, her parents Earl and Retha Redelsperger, and her brother, Roger Redelsperger. She is survived by her children Jinny and Al Force, “Bear” James and Annie Fulcher, and Joanna and Chris Deputy, siblings Pamela and Rick Himsl, Craig and Heather Redelsperger, and Angie Redelsperger. Her memory will be cherished by her most-treasured grandchildren Al, Jake, Colin, Jillian, Catherine, Carsyn, and “Trey” James. The family wishes to thank the staff of Fort Caroline Gardens Assisted Living in Jacksonville, Florida, and Haven Hospice for their dedicated and loving care over the past few years. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Christian Center on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 1 PM. A graveside service will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery, date and time to be determined. Arrangements are under the care of Cedar Bay Funeral Home.
