Donna Marion Kaylor, 82, of Jacksonville, FL went home to be with her Heavenly Father on February 14, 2025.
Donna was born on August 8, 1942, in Jacksonville, FL to Herbert and Louise Jones. She married her soulmate and the love of her life, Alton Kaylor, on September 13, 1958. The highlight of Donna’s life was the day they were blessed with their daughter, Dena.
She was a member of Duval Station Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping in the mountains with Alton. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, and decorating her home. On weekends she enjoyed shopping and yard sales, always thrilled to find a treasure or get a bargain.
Donna was straightforward, witty, and fun to be around. She loved cutting up with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren and especially loved gathering with family on holidays for a day filled with fun, food, fellowship, and making memories. She will be dearly missed by all.
“Love you to the moon and back.”
She is survived by her husband Alton Kaylor; daughter, Dena (Shawn) Godwin: grandson, Shawn (Alicia) Godwin II; granddaughter, Ashley (Brandon) Eady; 5 great-grandchildren, Joshua Shores, LeAnn Godwin, Shawn Wayne Godwin, Peyton Eady, and AJ Godwin and beloved puppy dog Punkin.
