Doris Louise Medders

Doris Louise Dubberly Medders, 87 passed away November 15, 2020 She was born in Screven, Georgia, on March 18, 1933 to the late Flornoy Martin Dubberly and Ella Dubberly, and she has lived most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, mother in law, sister, grandmother, dear friend, and will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband Junior Lee Medders. Survivors include Michael E Medders, Kenneth Lee Medders, Richard David Medders, Kevin Vance Medders, and daughter Vickie Denise Medders Tilley; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, also a host of other family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oceanway for well over 50 years. She was a pure hearted woman with a beautiful spirit, she was a true blessing to all who knew her. She was always at peace and loved God with all her heart. She was sharp as a tack, could remember details about things that happen decades ago. She loved reading Christian fiction books, a book a week, the bible was read from beginning to end every year. She was proud of her family. She loved them and God very much. She was a light to us all and a living example of what it means to truly walk with Jesus. Gods angels are rejoicing upon her arrival.
