Green                                Dorothy Louise Green, 72, passed away on Sunday July 25, 2021. She was born in Sylvester, Georgia in 1948 to the late James and Melba (Deal) Howell and has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She attended Duval Station Baptist Church and Andrew Jackson High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Crockett.  Survivors include her husband, Clifford Crockett; son, Calvin Crockett and wife Joy; daughter, Dorothy Michelle Sluder; sister, Julia Long; grandchildren, Richard Crockett and wife Bree, Amber Gardiner, Harvey Sluder and wife Ashley, Julinna Sluder, and Torianna Sluder, and many great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 28, 2021 in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Ken Barney officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm.
