Earle James Lerette Jr.

LERETTE Earle James, Jr., 76, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025. He was born April 5, 1948, in Miami, FL to the late Earle & Theresa Lerette. Earle was a graduate of Christopher Columbus Catholic High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force, was of the Baptist faith, and will be dearly missed by all. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Lerette. Survivors include sons David Lerette (Bridget), William “Billy” Roberts (Shannon); daughters Jamie Tongret (John), Tracie Westberry (Robert); sisters, Catherine Hibbard, Cynthia Lerette Hovde; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jerry, Jay, Tess, Phoenix, Eryka, Heather, Cody, Maegan, Wayne, Tyler; great grandchild, Willie; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6th  from 5-7 pm with a Celebration of Life service at 6 pm In the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd  Jacksonville FL, 32218. with Pastor John Kasper, Sr. officiating.

The Family will hold a private burial at the Jacksonville National Cemetery
